Prague, the city so stunning that it’s in virtually every Top 10 list of cities imaginable. A couple strolls across the immaculate St. Charles Bridge in the dawn light, their breath visible in fleeting puffs as they passively take in the cavalcade of masterful statues adorning the length of the bridge. Just below, a gaggle of geese float tranquilly in a pool on the outside bend of the wide and loping Vltava River. Reflected in the river-water, the looming visage of the Prague Castle high upon the neighboring hill sits regally among the clouds. Nearby, a small girl dances and leaps, extending a finger in an attempt to destroy the oil-slick rainbow-shelled balloon floating just out of reach. She giggles as it pops in a soapy spray that mists the ancient cobblestones beneath her feet.
